Baker Tilly evolves into Benelux platform with Baker Tilly (Luxembourg) joining

Utrecht, 31 August 2026 - With the addition of Baker Tilly (Luxembourg), the joint platform of Baker Tilly (Netherlands) and Baker Tilly (Belgium) evolves into a full Benelux platform. The transaction brings together 25 offices and approximately 1,500 professionals, laying the foundation for a new phase of growth, collaboration and knowledge development across the Benelux region.

Partner-shareholders from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will invest jointly in the Benelux platform. Investment firm Inflexion will remain on board as a minority shareholder. The result is an ambitious platform with the scale, capital and momentum to continue investing significantly in innovation, technology and talent development, while preserving the identity, local leadership and entrepreneurial spirit of each national organisation.

The timing is no coincidence. Businesses are operating increasingly across borders and are facing more complex regulations, accelerated digitalisation and ongoing technological change. By connecting expertise more closely across the Benelux region, Baker Tilly is strengthening its ability to support clients on increasingly complex cross-border challenges.

Ronald Hoeksel, CEO of Baker Tilly (Netherlands): “We have deliberately built a platform that combines local proximity with international reach. With Luxembourg joining, we are accelerating that journey. This is not just growth; it is the next step in shaping the future of professional services across the Benelux.”

Yannick Ravaine, CEO of Baker Tilly (Luxembourg): “Luxembourg is an international market by nature, and our clients expect advisers who understand and can navigate complexity across borders. Within the Benelux platform, we combine our local expertise with broader specialisms and additional investment capacity, while maintaining our own leadership and identity. This opens a new chapter of opportunities for our clients, our people and the continued growth of Baker Tilly (Luxembourg).”

Sander Ruijter, Head of Inflexion Benelux: “Baker Tilly demonstrates that scale and local strength can reinforce each other rather than compete. What convinces us is that partners from all participating countries are investing jointly in the platform's growth. This creates a shared commitment and combines entrepreneurship and strong client relationships with the scale required to continue investing in quality, technology and specialist expertise. Luxembourg joining the platform is a compelling next step in a strategy that is delivering results.”

The proposed transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
