Tax advisers of Baker Tilly have assisted Eden Hotels with the realization of a deal regarding the rebranding of the American Hotel at the Amsterdam Leidseplein into Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American.

Hotel American, built in 1902 in the typical Jugendstil-look is one of the most well-known luxury hotels in Amsterdam. Equally famous is the iconic Café Americain, which is located inside the hotel. After the rebranding, the Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American will have 173 rooms and suites in the typical Hard Rock style. Original rock paraphernalia, full-length mirrors, and a ‘guitar menu’ from which guests can choose musical instruments, are all part of the makeover.

Eden Hotels has 13 premium hotels in The Netherlands. Each hotel has its own style and ambiance, with the Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American claiming a special role within the group. Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American is the first Hard Rock hotel in The Netherlands.
The Hard Rock formula will expectedly cause great interest from among others music fans and musicians.

“Our collaboration with the management of the Eden Hotel group on this extraordinary project was especially pleasant”, remarks Baker Tilly tax partner Rob Perik.

The Baker Tilly team involved consisted of Rob Perik, Jayant Rakhan, Rakesh Ghirah, Thom Gunn & Stefan Slager.
